A former project administrator with the city's Cultural Affairs office was
charged with stealing $20,000 intended to spur tourism efforts in Chicago,
officials said today.
Ming Liu, 38, whose current address is listed as
the 2300 block of Shurt Circle in Urbana, pleaded not guilty today to the
charges before Circuit Court Judge Timothy Joyce, according to a press release
issued by the Cook County state's attorney's office.
